
Semi-Homemade Palomino Sauce
Gluten Free, Soy Free
Serves 6
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. gluten free flour (or regular for non-gluten free)
2 c. milk
1/2 c. parmesan
1 jar Rao's Homemade Tomato Basil Sauce
Salt & pepper to taste
Onion powder & garlic powder to taste (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a large sauté pan, melt butter over low heat. Whisk in flour to form a roux.
2. Add in the milk and whisk to combine. Cook over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes, or until it begins to thicken.
3. Add parmesan and desired spices. Whisk to combine and cook for another minute.
4. Reduce heat to low, add the Rao's Homemade Tomato Basil Sauce, and whisk to combine. Let simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Add cooked noodles and serve.
